The idea of The Autonomy Course originated when Jeff confronted the dilemma:
“How do I evolve from working too much and working to make money ("running a business") to creating a business and a career that fulfills me, creates joy, builds wealth, and improves the quality of my life, and the lives of others?
How do I Work (and Live) True to my heart and soul’s purpose?”
He then spent close to three decades discovering the key distinctions that led to living a life of alignment and working in alignment. The result?

The Autonomy Course
A 10-Month Inquiry & Evolution
We designed the course structures from the question:
How do you change, simply by being yourself?
The answer came in our study of Humberto Maturana’s work in biology and how living organisms evolve.
Evolve With Us
Over 10-months (time), inside a community of conscious and committed professionals (environment), with the following Course
design and structures (recurrence):
Conferences
Three, 2-day in-person conferences
Integrated Practices
Exercises designed to be integrated into your everyday working and living
Individual Coaching
Minimum one coaching session per month
Community & Collaboration
You will have a small group between each conference to collaborate and connect with
Group Zoom Calls
Once a month we host a group Zoom call with the entire course
Calls are recorded and available for later viewing
Conferences
Each 2-day Conference is led by Jeff Willmore and consists of group inquiries, discussions, exercises, and coaching.
If it’s impossible for you to attend one of the conferences, we will host a call on Zoom to re-create the conference for you. Monthly Zoom calls are always recorded and will be available to you if needed.
Conferences and Zoom Calls are not mandatory. They are, however, highly recommended for you to achieve the results that you intend from this course.
Integrated Practices
The Course includes specific readings, journaling, and
inquiriesevery 2 -3 weeks.
We look at key areas—business, the marketplace, your customers, leadership, alignment, and barriers—
from a new perspective.
These exercises are designed to be integrated into your life and business—while you’re living it—whether it’s coaching little league, managing a household, or on a
business trip.
Each is designed to work within your schedule and require no more than 2-3 hours per week.
Reading
You will be coached in reading specific aspects of various, unique thinkers to produce original thinking for yourself and to see new opportunities for taking action in work and in life (vs. just understanding or retaining knowledge).
Moreover, your reading in The Course will produce the kind of insights that make a difference in how you see your current business/career circumstances and the future.
Journaling
You will receive specific guidance for journaling inquiries.
We will coach you to be more effective in thinking and allowing your thoughts to be put into action.
This journaling will help you:
- Design new business practices
- Make grounded assessments ofthe future, the business environment,and people
- Create action plans to fulfill your commitments and vision
- Clarify your intentions and created ambitions
Thinking
We will coach you in thinking with new distinctions that enable you to see, invent, and live new opportunities and possibilities.
You will learn to think in a way that generates alignment and grounded assessments about leading, managing, selling, planning, and business vs. having automatic, default assumptions, views, and beliefs.
Individual Coaching Sessions
Individual coaching is an essential part of the process.
These collaborative sessions aren’t about telling you what you “should” do or what we would do, they’re about you seeing, feeling, and observing internally how to improve or elevate your performance.
Moreover, our coaching enables you to discover and observe past-based, disempowering ways of thinking of which you are likely unaware. Through conscious observation, you learn to change the conversation and align your choices with your most important commitments and values.
This process creates enormous freedom of thought and action.
Community & Collaboration
One of the most impactful and valuable areas of being in The Course is the community — the other people in The Course are extraordinary! Other highly-committed, mindful, ambitious professionals and business owners.
Many of us experience being part of empowering communities in different aspects of our life (perhaps a yoga community or a community of faith you’re part of, etc.). However, when it comes to business, we rarely experience this! Imagine having the kind of business group where you experience being empowered, seen, and known and you can think, design, and create together. This is a game-changer.
